4th October 2006 - shots from the water as the reef finally starts to deliver.
The reef finally started to deliver shortly after the second half, the right hander was in place, even though only 85% complete. Th emount reef was surfed all day and through all levels of the tide. Although the largest bag was bare at low tide the bodyboarders still stayed out and ripped it up. The quality of the waves and the takeoff point should be better once the right hander has been fully completed.

Proof that surfers were also on the reef and not just bodyboarders!

3rd October 2006 - The developing 1.5m messy swell starts to clean up.
The messy conditions and mad drops on the wave face suited those that prefer to surf lying down!

8th March 2006, the first decent surfing session on the 70% complete 1st half.
On 5th March 2006 we managed to fill the three big bags and this is the result three days later, pretty good considering its only a small wind blown swell. We await the arrival of a good groundy and completion of the first half for even better results!

17th December 2005 - The first waves on the reef after construction stopped 12th December 2005 (due to holidays!)
The first waves on the reef turned out to primarily suit bodyboarding due to the shape of the 60% complete 1st half of the reef. This should change when the reef is filled with sand.
